Data Request Policy

How to request export or deletion of your ScriptVault library data.

Draft — Alpha Operating Policy

This document is an operating draft for ScriptVault's public alpha. It has not been reviewed by a legal professional and does not constitute legal advice. It will be updated before broader public release.

1. Alpha Limitations

ScriptVault is in Controlled Public Alpha. Formal data request tooling is not fully automated. Requests are processed manually during the alpha period. Response times are best-effort and not guaranteed.

2. Who Can Request

  • Guild data: Server owners and Administrators can request export or deletion of their server's library data.
  • Personal data: Any user can request export or deletion of their own activity records (downloads, favorites, ratings, reports submitted).

Requests must be submitted by the guild owner or the affected user. Staff cannot submit requests on behalf of others without authorization.

3. What Can Be Exported

  • Guild data: Library metadata (script titles, games, feature tags, download counts, approval status). Does not include script file contents or other servers' data.
  • Personal activity: A summary of your download history, favorites, ratings, and reports submitted within servers you are active in.

4. Self-Serve Export

Library Managers and Administrators can export library metadata at any time using /library export. This produces a JSON file containing script metadata — no manual request needed.

5. What Can Be Deleted

  • Full guild data: All library scripts, files, metadata, configuration, and member activity records associated with your server.
  • Personal activity: Your download history, favorites, ratings, and report records.

6. Safety Retention

Some data may be retained after a deletion request for safety and policy enforcement reasons, including records related to active report investigations, IP complaints, or policy enforcement actions. This retention is time-limited.

7. How to Submit a Request

During the alpha, submit requests through the ScriptVault Hub:

  1. Join the ScriptVault Hub
  2. Navigate to the appropriate support channel
  3. Submit your request with: type of request (export or deletion), whether it is a guild or personal request, your guild ID (for guild requests) or user ID (for personal requests)
  4. Verify your identity as the guild owner or affected user

Viridex Systems will respond through the Hub or by other agreed means.

8. Request Scope

Data requests are scoped to the data ScriptVault directly stores. ScriptVault cannot process requests for data held by Discord. For Discord data requests, contact Discord directly.
